Bio

I studied Political Science at Catholic University of Central Africa (Cameroon) and Sciences-Po Paris (France). Prior to join Crisis Group, I covered Cameroon and Central Africa region as Consultant for the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (2013) and Researcher at Paul Ango Ela Foundation of geopolitics in Central Africa (2011-2013). Since November 2013, as Central Africa Analyst, I conduct field research and provides analysis on prevailing security, governance and political issues; proposes policy initiatives for governmental, intergovernmental, and nongovernmental stakeholders to resolve sources of conflict; and prepares detailed reports and briefing papers setting out relevant research findings and policy recommendations. My areas of expertise include: Defence and security, Political sociology, Cameroon, Central Africa, Boko Haram and the Lake Chad basin. I have extensively published policy reports, academic articles, commentaries, op-eds and books on the five topics since seven years. I speaks French, English, German and Swahili.
