The recent parliamentary debate on the plight of Myanmar’s Rohingya population highlighted the political will within all parties for the UK to play a role in bringing an end to the violence, but also drew attention to the absence of a national strategy to predict and prevent these terrible crimes. The panel will also explore how the UK’s planned withdrawal from the European Union and impact or the Trump administration may alter Britain's role in the world and its contribution to global leadership.
