SecDev & RESOLVE roundtable: Digitally enabled extremism and techno-authoritarianism in Central Asia - Focusing on Solutions
On May 4, 2021, SecDev and RESOLVE hosted a virtual roundtable with leading specialists to reflect on the scope and scale of digital threats in Central Asian cyberspace. The gathering assembled decision-makers, practitioners, and subject matter experts from the US, Russia, and Central Asia to review key questions in addressing digitally enabled extremism. The roundtable began with the presentation of findings from SecDev-led monitoring of digital extremism and online harms across Central Asia followed by Q&A with a focus on key insights and practical recommendations.
