Summary

On May 28, 2020, the RESOLVE Network hosted an invite-only webinar exploring Trends in Far-Right Violence and Terrorism with the Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX) of the University of Oslo and the Polarization and Extremism Research and Intervention Lab (PERIL) at the American University. The webinar convened interested practitioners, experts, and policymakers from the U.S. interagency to discuss the historical context and current manifestations of far-right violence and terrorism. The discussants presented findings from the recently published C-REX RTV dataset on severe outcome attacks with extreme right motivations in Western Europe and their implications for violent extremism prevention efforts.
