Chris Meserole, RESOLVE Network Global Forum 2018
At the U.S. Institute of Peace on September 20, the Third Annual RESOLVE Network Global Forum explored new research approaches for countering and preventing violent extremism for policy and practice. Thought-provoking TED Talk-style presentations pushed the boundaries of understanding and countering violent extremism and introduced new angles and tools to address the challenge.
Chris Meserole is an expert of new methodologies and data science approaches to understanding radicalization and violent extremism at the Brookings Institution. At the RESOLVE Network Global Forum 2018, he discussed historical grievances and salient drivers of violent extremism and how they can be identified and substantialized in data.
