PROJECTS
South East Asia
To inform local and global audiences of violent extremist dynamics in South East Asia, the RESOLVE Network partners with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) to conduct a series of analytical and capacity building activities focused on the region in 2020-21. The goal of the initiative is to help policymakers and advisors address ongoing and emerging VE issues more effectively through exposure to targeted VE research and regional connectivity with experts.
RESOLVE’s efforts will:
- expand its network of organizations, experts, and academics in South East Asia, and increase international collaboration with RESOLVE and on the topic of violent extremism;
- produce, publish, and socialize new insights to further understanding of the evolving violent extremist threat in the region and opportunities to address it; and
- build the capacity of policymakers, advisors, and practitioners to utilize research to craft more effective P/CVE interventions.
